Jo-Carroll Energy lineworkers are constructing the three-phase overhead transformer bank that will provide the system interconnection to the South View Solar Farm array. The transformer allows the 480V output of the solar array to connect with the 12.67kV distribution system. Line crews also will construct an underground conductor between the transformer pole and the array's inverter (which converts the DC panel output to AC) to allow a tie-in with the existing system.

Meter techs will work to program a three-phase meter, and install associated equipment to gauge the output of the array.

Our broadband department (Sand Prairie Wireless) will establish a communication link with the array to provide real-time data to a web inteface on the Jo-Carroll Energy website.
